I worked with Told by an Idiot from 2021 until 2023 supporting the delivery of their activities during the pandemic and their return to the London International Mime Festival for its final edition. Below are the main projects I worked on alongside the day-to-day running and administration of a truly punk & fantastic company.

Get Happy 2021: In Autumn 2021 Told by an Idiot toured a new integrated community engagement version of their hit family show Get Happy, spending a week working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their families in four locations across the country: Ipswich, Sandwell, Plymouth and Derby.
7 Deadly Idiots: Bringing together 7 extraordinary emerging film makers and an Idiot ensemble of 7 performers (including co-founder Hayley Carmichael), along with Idiot collaborator and esteemed actor Edward Petherbridge, 7 Deadly Idiots continues the Told by an Idiot's journey of creating the unexpected since 1993.
Would You Bet Against Us?: Would You Bet Against Us? marked the 40th anniversary of an iconic event for Aston Villa, for Birmingham and for Paul. A hilarious, poignant, and uplifting show about challenging expectations and proving people wrong. A Told by an Idiot and Birmingham Repertory Theatre production
Charlie & Stan: This 80-minute jam-packed show is non-stop entertainment, and tells the true(ish) story of the greatest comedy double act that 'almost' was; Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel (the Laurel of Laurel and Hardy fame). I worked as an Assistant Producer for the return performance at London International Mime Festival in 2023.
