Temper Theatre

Temper Theatre create work inspired by pressing socio-political and environmental issues. Using physical movement, ensemble dance and fragmented imagery, their work aims to resonate with contemporary culture. They combine movement, light and sound with the express interest of enticing moments of honest, emotional response from audiences in the UK and around the world.

I am a founding member of Temper Theatre and have played an important role in the companies 10 year history from their first Edinburgh Fringe show, TRIBE, in 2015 to a 7 city tour across China in 2024 with their latest production HOME.

Being a part of this company formed the bedrock of my understanding and first hand experience of the theatre industry, Arts Council England, grant writing, touring, participation projects and the joys and challenges of making contemporary work in the UK.
